OUR TRIP TO GRACELAND

Last month Frank & I went to Memphis to the casino and stopped by to see Elvis!!! This house is so interesting I just had to share with all of you. We were not allowed to go upstairs to see his private corridors. It snowed while we were there. You have to click on the pictures to open them to see all the the items in the photos. Enjoy!!

Having fun in the picture booth!

Elvis's house.
Each room was as he left it.

They got a freak snow storm the day we went there!!

Notice the fabric on the walls!!

The Museum

This car was made for Frank Sinatra but Elvis offered the company more money for it before Sinatra could pick it up!

The pink Caddy is Elvis's personal family car.
Later given to his Mother.

Priscilla's wedding dress.

Elvis and his parents buried on the property.
A beautiful memorial garden.

Elvis's private plane.

Murfreesboro TN Tornado

The pictures below can not even begin to portray the devastation here in Murfreesboro. There were 4 tornadoes so there is destruction over several parts of the area. I live 15 miles from the VA and there are housing developments near there completely destroyed and that is the case all over town including one near where our house is 15 miles away. (The house that we sold.) That development was spared. We couldn't get into most of the developments because they are being barricaded with police officers. Whole delevepments are completely gone. There are thousands and thousands of people displaced. Not only did these people loose their homes but lots of them lost their vehicles. You really have to see it all to feel the sadness and devastation. Below shows a trucking company completely destroyed with all their trucks piled on top of each other. Open the pictures and check them out. These people need our prayers and support.
