MOON PIE AND RC FESTIVAL

We went to the big
"MOON PIE AND RC COLA FESTIVAL"
today! It was in a quaint little town called Bell Buckle. They had arts and crafts plus they have lots of shops and a great cafe. The food was great. They had live music and of course the big moon pie cutting. Everyone got served Banana Moon Pie! We decided we don't really like Moon Pie! It's really sweet. The center has marshmallow with a cookie on the outside. With icing covering the cookie. The icing comes in many different flavors. Every store we were in had cases after cases of them. People were buying cases at time. We had fun, and it was a nice ride. Another neat thing is the train passes through the town. Seems like it goes through at least every couple of hours. That was really nice to see. Lots of countryside and farmland. Lots of TN walking horse farms. Enjoy the pictures below. Don't miss the guy with the Pig Hat!!! Love you all!

This is the biggest moon pie ever!! The bananas are because they are introducing a new banana flavor. These moon pies are in many different flavors!!

Notice the guy with the Pig Hat!!!!

BRIAN'S HOMECOMING FROM IRAQ

These are pictures Kim took of Brian and the troops arriving home from Iraq and the ceremony. I think she took the pictures through a window. Thanks to all the troops for their service. We're so glad you are all home and safe! The kids are growing so fast. I love the pictures! Thanks Kim.

LANDSCAPING TN HOME

I took pictures of all the flowers today so thought I'd share them with you!!! What a difference a year makes! We did all this landscaping last year in July. I can't believe how everything has grown. We're really enjoying the flowers. Everything blooms so early here. I didn't know which ones to post so I posted them all! Hope I'm not boring you!!! Love you all!!

MOTHER'S DAY FLOWERS

These are the flowers Brian and Kim sent for Mother's Day. Thanks so much. They are so pretty and made the house smell sooooo nice!! Too bad they couldn't last forever!! I guess that's why we have photographs!! I also enjoyed a call from Brian from Iraq. That was very touching! I also talked with Brenda and Richard. I had a nice Mother's Day. Wish I could have spent it with my kids though. I miss them!

THE VILLAGES, FLORIDA

This is a Golf Community we visited in May. We went there for a 5 day visit. Everyone pretty much drives golf carts around for grocery shopping, going to WalMart, going out to eat or wherever else they have to go. Everything you could possibly need is in the community. The prices are actually pretty reasonable. We had a great time. Lots of pools and of course lots of golf courses. Frank could golf a different course every day!!
