Live Nativity

Frank and I went to this live Nativity at a Baptist Church near our house. We took a hayride through the nativity to all different stations. They did a very nice job. We also went to a Christmas Concert there. They have a lot of musical talent in their church. We enjoyed it very much. We went for church service there last week.

I just want to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas. I miss every one of you. I'd love to be spending the holiday with you. I miss seeing the kids open their presents and the excitement in their eyes and on their faces!
I Love and Miss you all.

Merry Christmas!

George Jones Christmas

The country singer "George Jones" lives about 13 miles from us on a five acre lot. Every inch of it is decorated for Christmas. Lights everywhere! There's even a John Deere tractor! It was impossible to get pictures of everything. It is so nicely done. Thought you would all like to see. Enjoy!

The gate to the house

This is the gate that opens to lead you to the house on top of the hill. The flash on my camera wouldn't reach far enough to capture a picture of his house. It's very beautiful though!

Well, here it is again, another Christmas! I had last week off from work so did my decorating so thought I'd share with you!...or Y'all!! We had a great week, but a busy one. I made all the flower arrangements so therefore the decorating took some time. But it was fun. We had a couple of Frank's golf buddies and their wives over for dinner this week. Frank made his famous meatballs and I made the sauce. I'll post pictures of our friends in a couple of days. We actually got to use our dining room for the first time. We forgot to take pictures but did take some at a golf banquet so will share with you soon. Hope you enjoy the pictures! I Love you guys. Hope you can all visit soon! A very Merry Christmas to all!

The Christmas Tree looks so nice when lite. The gold flowers sparkle so nicely. I took pride in decorating the tree! Frank said he wanted gold and Victorian style so I went with it!

Brian On The Front Page Of Their News Paper

Thanks to everyone for your Birthday and anniversary wishes on your blogs. I have been really busy Holiday shopping, decorating, cleaning, getting my car fixed, and everything else I don't have time to do when I'm working. I'm on vacation this week. We had a great day celebrating birthday and anniversary. We went to the Christmas show in Nashville at the Grand Ole Opry, the Rocketts. Very nice show, as usual. We walked the Opry Mills mall all day before the show. It took about 4 hours to walk the whole thing. And we didn't even get to go in all the stores. The place is huge. I will post pictures of my holiday decorating soon. We are having company for dinner tomorrow night so haven't had time to take the pictures. We are having two couples for dinner that Frank golfs with their husbands. Will write about it after tomorrow. Love You All. By the way Joan, where did you get that goofy picture of me? Just think, next year at this time you can be my age!!! And Norine, I'm catching up with you all too fast!! I have to move out of the slot to make room for the rest of our brother and sisters!! Check out the link I posted of Brian on the front page of their daily news!

Brian's Promotion

I received the following e-mail from Kim today!!!
Just wanted to let everyone know that we found out this morning that Brian made the promotion list! He will now be promoted to Master Sergeant (E8)! This is a big promotion for him. It comes from Washinton DC and not all enlisted soldiers even make this rank so we are both very excited. Hope you are all doing well.
Kim
I am so happy for Brian, Kim and the kids. This is a great accomplishment and honor. This truely makes me such a proud mother!!

JUSTIN'S 3rd BIRTHDAY

A couple of new pictures of Justin's 3rd Birthday!!!

To my last born grandson!! I hope you have a great 3rd birthday. Hope you have fun at your party today. I will be thinking of you, my bashful little wrestler!! Justin loves wrestling. He puts all these little moves on his Brother, Mom and Dad...and whomever else will play the game. That's after he gets to know you for awhile. It took a few days to get him to finally warm up to me when I was home in April. We love you Justin!!
